IPA Board of Directors
Following the successful event in Barcelona, the International Probiotics Association held its board of directors meeting. The major news to report is the IPA board voted to expand the IPA’s scope and to complement its historical focus on probiotics.
This scope expansion will include the ‘biotics’, comprised of Postbiotics, Prebiotics and Synbiotics within the human, infant and companion animal segments of food and dietary supplements. It was a natural progression for the association as these categories so nicely complement the probiotics market.
We will continue our solid path of driving and upholding the probiotic category as we replicate our past achievements in these ‘biotic’ categories. Find out more here
